ROCKPORT —  Midcoast Habitat for Humanity received a donation from Four Corner Variety in Union. Four Corner donated $.10 for every pound tagged during hunting season.

"As the new owners of Four Corner Variety we are proud to donate to Midcoast Habitat for Humanity and be able to help advance their cause,” said Rich and Jenn, in a Habitat news release.

"A huge thank you to fabulous Four Corner Variety in Union for their creative fundraising,” said Tia Anderson, executive director of MHH. “We are grateful for their $1600 donation and support. Midcoast Habitat for Humanity is excited to be creating affordable homeownership opportunities in Union in the upcoming years. Expanding our reach to this area and others in Knox County is an important part of our mission driven work."

Midcoast Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating and preserving homes; by advocating for fair and just housing policies; and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
