As a former Republican, I urge every Knox County voter to vote for our Democratic candidates because they do the work of government.

We spent many days in Augusta talking to both Republican and Democratic representatives, watching Senate and House sessions, supporting our state and local needs. 

Politicians who dislike and bad-mouth governments simply don’t do the work. They rather complain and vote no.

All are good, hard working and thoughtful representatives. Many are experienced incumbents who know how our federal, state & local governments work.

Our state representatives are important because they each have specific expertise in our state affairs including budgets and funding, justice, public safety, healthcare and housing, environment and infrastructure.

They aren’t hot button issue politicians.  We need every one of them. They work as a team & make it possible for their individual expertise to work for us. We need every one to keep our Secretary of State & Attorney General to protect our voting rights. Please vote!--
