BELFAST — People and Places of the Maine Coast, an exhibit of photographs by Doug Chamberlin, will be on display in the Kramer Gallery of the Belfast Free Library for the month of May.

The gallery, located on the ground floor is open during library hours.

Chamberlin says of his photographs, “This exhibit reflects the variety of what I see around me. While I have returned to some locations, such as the Curtis Island light, most of these images are just what I saw as I traveled around the state. I took up digital photography in 2018 as a hobby during retirement. Living in a picturesque area, I wanted to capture all the lovely scenes I encountered every day. I have moved from landscapes to eventually trying street photography and incorporating people into my images.”
