Rockland JV and Varsity game schedule.
The youth football leagues all over the state were ready for the new season to get underway in August. Here in the Midcoast we have three teams: Rockland Tigers, Five Town Football of Camden and Medomak that participate in the Maine Youth Football League.
There is a north and south division with all three local teams, plus Lincoln County, Boothbay, Gray-New Glouster and Freeport.
Each team plays an eight-game schedule followed by the Harvest Bowl playoffs and championships for both the JV and varsity squad. The JV teams are players in the fourth and fifth grade, while the varsity is sixth and some fifth graders.
Medomak plays their home games behind the Union Elementary School, the Five Town Football teams play at the Camden Snow Bowl while the Rockland Tigers play at Wasgatt Field in Rockland.
