Paul Dyton Bacon, obituary

FRANKFORT and BANGOR — Paul Dyton Bacon, 55, of Frankfort and Bangor, passed away Thursday, May 5, 2022, after a battle with cancer.

Paul was born December 20, 1966, in Peru, Indiana to Air Force Master Sergeant Robert Bacon, Sr. and Letha (Burnsed) Bacon. Paul was the youngest child in a military family that soon settled in Maine where he attended school and worked various jobs throughout his years.

Paul enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. He loved to talk about the time he canoed the Allagash, or any of his hunting and fishing trips.

In addition to his parents, Paul was predeceased by his older brother, Robert Bacon, Jr, and many close friends.

Paul is survived by his son, Justin Bacon and girlfriend Taylor Stevens and their daughter Emma of Belfast; his sisters, Pamela Glidden, with whom he was especially close, and her husband Tony of Frankfort, Terry Townsend and her husband David of Holden, and Sandra Cormier of Bangor; his brother Fred Bacon of Myrtle Beach, South Carolina.

Paul also leaves behind many nieces and nephews, including Michelle, Jenny, Molly, Joshua, Sara, Casey and Zack, and many more great-nieces and great-nephews.

Always laughing and the life of the party, Paul will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
