UNION — Brae Maple Farm will participate in Open Farm Day, Sunday, July 28, 2024, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at 233 North Union Rd, Union. 

Enjoy historic 1787 farmstead with views of Union’s hills and ponds, live music by The Dock Boys and homemade snacks from the garden. Learn new gardening methods, pest and disease management strategies and “Ask a Master Gardener Volunteer.” Stroll in the Heritage and Medicine Wheel Gardens Observe Wool spinning and the craft of woodturning demos, antique cars and beekeeping methods. Ask Master Gardener Volunteers about gardening and composting. Kids participate in making fairies, finding fairy houses, and going on a scavenger hunt.
