Oceanside golf swings past Mount View

BROOKS — The Oceanside and Mount View golf programs met in Brooks at the Country View Golf Course on Tuesday, Sept. 10 for a showdown between the two programs.
At the end of the match, the visiting Rockland-based Mariners walked away with a 9-0 victory over the host Thorndike-based Mustangs.
Oceanside improved its record to 5-2 with the victory, while Mount View remains searching for its first win of the season with a 0-7 record.
The match’s medalist was Austin Chillis of Oceanside.
Oceanside’s next match will be against Maine Central Institute at the Rockland Golf Club on Thursday, Sept. 12.
A schedule for Mount View has not been provided to the sports department.
