Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital introduces new signature event, the 56er
ELLSWORTH — Maine Coast Hospital presents a new signature event to Ellsworth after pausing in-person gala events during the pandemic. The 56er - Maine Coast Mixer will be a celebration of healthcare at Maine Coast Hospital since 1956. Tickets are now available for Northern Light Maine Coast Hospital’s 56er, scheduled for Friday, September 27. Launching during Autumn Gold, this fun and elegant evening kicks off at the Woodlawn Museum at 6 p.m.
Proceeds from the 56er will support Maine Coast Hospital’s Building on a Promise capital campaign, which has allowed the hospital to build a state-of-the-art birthing center and renovate all in-patient rooms making them mostly private to support patient healing and privacy. Naming opportunities for room renovations are still available.
“We are looking forward to bringing an event back to Ellsworth,” says John Ronan, FACHE, president, Maine Coast Hospital, in a news release. “I think fondly of the Poinsettia Balls and Chef’s Galas of the past and recall how the community came together with our staff to create these events. We are excited about the change and can’t wait to see you at the 56er - Maine Coast Mixer.”
This is an evening of celebration with sounds and dancing by the Larry Williams Band, tastes by Rioux Catering, and a silent auction filled with the Ellsworth region’s best, all at the historic Woodlawn Museum.
The Gold Sponsor is First National Bank.
“We invite you to please join us too,” said MCH.
