Night out lands Searsmont woman in jail

BELFAST — A Searsmont woman was arrested Nov. 9 on multiple charges, including disorderly conduct.
According to Detective Bryan Cunningham, of the Belfast Police Department, Cassandra Lucas, 21, of Searsmont, was at Front Street Pub Saturday when she was asked to leave by staff. After Lucas allegedly refused repeated requests to leave, police were called and they also asked Lucas to leave the area. She allegedly refused officers’ requests to leave.
The late-night incident landed Lucas in jail with charges of criminal trespassing, refusing to submit to arrest or detention, refusing to sign a summons and disorderly conduct.
