MRC 6U skaters enjoy time on the ice

ROCKPORT — At the intermission period between the first and second periods of the Saturday, Jan. 4 varsity ice hockey game between Camden Hills and Brunswick at the Midcoast Recreation Center in Rockport, skaters part of the 6U skating program at the Midcoast Recreation Center took to the ice to participate in a skating session.

As they entered the ice, the young skaters were greeted by the Camden Hills ice hockey team who formed a human tunnel for the young skaters to walk onto the ice through.

The young skaters and the high school skaters have formed a bond recently as the high school students help at the 6U skating sessions held at the MRC.
