Morril man charged with OUI after early morning crash

BELFAST — A Morrill man was summonsed for operating under the influence after a single-vehicle crash Wednesday morning, Nov. 13.
According to Detective Bryan Cunningham, Belfast Police received a report of a single-vehicle accident on Shepherd Road in Belfast after another motorist reported seeing a man crawling out of a ditch just after 3 a.m. Wednesday. Matthew Walker, 26, of Morrill, was transported from the scene to Waldo County General Hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
Detective Cunningham said that responding officers found “many empty alcohol containers” in Walker’s truck.
