JEFFERSON — Merrill R. Hutchins, 80, passed away peacefully at Maine Medical Center in Portland on Jan. 19, 2014. He was born in Jefferson on June 15, 1933, to Arthur Hutchins and Mildred Hunt.
A funeral service will be held Saturday, May 17 at 1 p.m. at the North Waldoboro Nazarene Church, 1640 Old Augusta Road in Waldoboro, with the Rev. Mark Holden Officiating. Burial will be at the Fairview Cemetery on Route 126 in Jefferson.
