Megunticook Rowing participates in Textile River Regatta

LOWELL, Mass. — Megunticook Rowing braved the wind of a hurricane and competed Sunday, Oct. 2 in the 43rd Textile River Regatta on the Merrimack River. 

In the Men’s Jr Novice 4+ event, the Waynflete boys novice boat coxed by Maggie Blood finished 1st in 20:30 minutes.

In the Women’s Jr 4+ B event, the girls second varsity boat coxed by Ruth Weiss finished 19th in 24:40.

In the Men’s Jr 4+ A event, the boys varsity boat coxed by Aaron Dowd finished 15th in 20:46.

In the Women’s Jr 4+ A event, the girls varsity boat coxed by Sofia Howell finished 9th in 21:55.

In the Women’s Masters 4+ event, the women’s masters boat coxed by Olivia Goodwin-Cook finished 3rd in 24:31. 

Megunticook Rowing will next compete at the New Hampshire Championships George Dirth Regatta in Pembroke, New Hampshire on Sunday, October 16.
