CAMDEN — Megunticook Rowing will be holding its BayView Collection Raffle drawing on Wednesday, Nov. 1, 2023. The amount raised will go to support Megunticook Rowing’s scholarship fund and help care for their equipment.

Entrants are competing to win a universal "Bay View Collection'' gift certificate valued at $500 good towards a one or more night stay at any one of their hotel properties.

“Depending on when you stay and what property is chosen, you can get up to two nights at Lord Camden Inn, or one night at one of their luxury properties,” said Megunticook Rowing, in a news release.

Rooms are based on availability from drawing date until December 2024. Black out dates apply. One hundred tickets are for sale. Each ticket is $50.

Megunticook Rowing is a 501c3 nonprofit organization in Camden, Maine. The mission is to strengthen minds, bodies and community through rowing. Since 2008, the program has grown from a handful of dedicated rowers with a couple of donated shells, to an organization that sends high school aged and masters rowers to in-state regattas and Boston’s Head of the Charles. Many junior rowers have gone on to compete in Division 1 programs. Just as important, the masters programs receive expert coaching to develop skills and a lifetime love of rowing.
