WALDOBORO — Juniors Samuel Thornton, Noah Morris and Jordan Doughty will represent Medomak Valley High School at Dirigo State in June. Dirigo State provides training in citizenship, leadership and character development. 

The weeklong conference will take place at Colby College, in Waterville. 

Junior students from across Maine will return to the community a better citizen and display willingness to make a greater civic contribution, according to Medomak Valley High School, in a news release.
