Mary Rose Keyes, obituary
BELFAST — Mary Rose Keyes, 67, of Belfast, passed away on March 8, 2016, in Bangor. She was born June 17, 1948, in Belfast to Anthony and Nancy (Parker) Smith.
Mary loved children and spent her life surrounded by them. She will be remembered for her infectious laugh and smile. Mary was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
She was predeceased by both parents; her husband; her daughter, Veronica Maclin-Leclair; her grandson, Stephen Foster; and her best friend, Louise Vilandry. Mary is survived by her three children, Anita Maclin of Waldo, and Billie Jean Keyes and Christine Keyes, both of Wilmot, N.H.; two sisters, Susan Staples of Belfast and Kathleen Beane of Claremont, N.H.; two brothers, Michael Smith of Sioux City, Iowa and Donald Nesbitt of Grafton, Mass.; her grandchildren, Tonie Foster and Rhyan Foster, both of Salem, Mass., and Mia Rose Hufault of Wilmot, N.H.; her great-granddaughter, Alexa Craveiro of Salem, Mass.; and many nieces and nephews.
Memorial services will be held Saturday, March 12 at 2 p.m. at Faith Temple Church, 193 Lincolnville Ave. in Belfast, with the Rev. Michael Horton officiating.
