ROCKLAND — Maizie Joy Newcomb, 96, wife of the late Frederick M. “Ted” Newcomb, died Dec. 14, 2015, surrounded by her family, following a brief illness, at the Sussman House in Rockport. A full obituary will be published.

Friends and relatives are invited to visit Friday, Dec. 18 from 5 to 7 p.m. at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St. in Rockland. A memorial service will be held Saturday, Dec. 19 at 2 p.m. at Rockland Congregational Church, 180 Limerock St. in Rockland. The Rev. Seth D. Jones will officiate.
