CAMDEN — Just before 10 a.m., March 6, a large truck carrying a load of logs was not able to make a sharp corner and landed on its side. The driver was able to disengage from the truck, uninjured, except for minor lacerations.

Camden Fire Department and North East Mobile Health Services responded to the call on Route 105, near the Hope town line.

The male driver, 60, was alone in the tractor trailer when he attempted to make a sharp turn onto Hope Road from a private road, said Camden Fire Chief Chris Farley.

The rear axles sunk into the ditch, which resulted in a slow roll-over, he said.

Later in the day, Adolphson Logging Company went to work to help pull the tractor trailer from the ditch. The logging truck had been loaded with logs when it rolled onto its side.
