Local Color Gallery supports New Hope Midcoast

The holiday season brought the joy of giving to the artists at Local Color Gallery in Belfast. Several of the artists created holiday ornaments ranging from “paint-brush angels” to “dangling print animals.” Anyone who stopped in the gallery and donated $50 for New Hope Midcoast during the holiday season received a hand-made ornament as a gift. Twenty-two ornaments went home to brighten someone’s holiday décor, and $1,300 was given to New Hope Midcoast, an organization that works to end domestic abuse, dating violence, and stalking in the midcoast region. Local Color Gallery is located at 135 High Street in Belfast. During the winter months, the gallery is open Wednesday through Saturday, from 11-4.
