HOLLYWOOD, Fla. — Lillian and George Berliner of Hollywood, Fla., are proud to announce their upcoming 70th wedding anniversary. They were married June 26, 1945, and the love they feel for one another burns brightly to this day.

Not being ones to gather moss, they both still work full time. When not working they enjoy being with family and friends and seeing the world — ideally, both at the same time.

George was stationed in Rockland in 1945, when he was in the U.S. Coast Guard, and they spent their first year of married life there. One of their favorite places has always been Camden, where the Berliner family still visits every summer and has for more than 25 years.

They have two children, six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Through the years they have set an example of love, encouragement, hard work, service and support to their family and friends. They are truly an inspiration to any person lucky enough to know them.
