ROCKLAND – The following cases were closed in Knox County Sixth District Court from Jan.19-23.

Michael J. Bowers, 53, of Marlton, N.J., hunting with firearms, using a crossbow without hunter orange, $100 fine.

Richard Emery, 57, of Montville, hunting from stand or blind overlooking deer bait, fine $200.

Vincent Hilt, 20, of St. George, possession of marijuana, up to 1 ¼ ounce, fine $350; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, 48 hours in jail; violating conditions of release (three counts), seven days in jail.

Jennifer Newbury, 34, of Sedgwick, violating condition of release, 48 hours in jail.
