Knox County Criminal Docket closed cases

    ROCKLAND — The following cases were closed in Knox County Unified Court from July 18-28.

    Dorian Ames, 30, of Cushing, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer, with priors, in Thomaston Sept. 9, 2022, dismissed; theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Sept. 9, 2022, 96 hours in jail.

    Kurtis A. Rome Bertrand, 29, of Wiscasset, domestic violence assault in Rockland April 2, 2020, three years in jail with all but four months suspended, probation two years. Aggravated assault and tampering with victim, both dismissed.

    Joseph E. Bridges, 24, of Owls Head, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockport March 6, 2023, $500 fine.

    Noah Burns, 18, of Rockland, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Rockland Aug. 23, 2022, guilty.

    Thomas M. Chandler, 29, of Washington, operating under the influence (drugs or combination) in Rockland Jan, 28, 2022, dismissed; driving to endanger in Friendship July 28, 2022, $575 fine, license suspended 30 days.

    Patrick Shannon Curtis, 44, of Lincolnville, unsworn falsification in Rockland March 24, 2023, $500 fine.

    Kristina M. Donahue, 43, of Damariscotta, violating condition of release in Warren March 13, 2021, dismissed.

    Carrie Emerson, 45, of Palmyra and Friendship, domestic violence assault in Cushing Dec. 30, 2021, dismissed; assault in Warren July 21, 2022, dismissed; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures in Warren July 21, 2022, $100 fine, all suspended; violating protection from abuse order in Friendship July 27, 2022, $150 fine.

    James C. Greene, 34, of Searsport, operating while license suspended or revoked in Rockport Nov. 9, 2022, $250 fine.

    Russell Jacob Johnson, 39, of Tenants Harbor, violating of gear rule, Chapter 75, in St. George April 9, 2023, $250 fine.

    Nelson Keyser, 32, of Camden, domestic violence assault in Rockland and assault in Rockland Jan. 6, 2022, $300 fine; tampering with witness, informant, juror, or victim in Rockland Nov. 3, 2022, guilty; tampering with witness, informant, juror or victim in Rockland Nov. 3, 2022, dismissed.

    Arden L. Kelly, 24, of Chestnut Hill, Mass., operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockland Aug. 27, 2022, $900 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Derek Leigh, 38, of Washington, violating protection from abuse order in Washington Nov. 14, 2022, 364 days in jail with all but 120 days suspended, probation one year; violating condition of release in Rockland March 17, 2023, seven days in jail; violating condition of release in Rockland March 23, 2023, unconditional discharge.

    Jeffrey Erhard Leidemann, 59, of Windom, violation of sea urchin rule, Chapter 26, in Camden Nov. 16, 2022, $500 fine.

    Nioka Lorenzen, 32, of Appleton, theft by unauthorized taking or transfer in Thomaston Aug. 6, 2021, dismissed.

    Peter J. O’Hara, 42, of Memphis, Tenn. and Farmington, Conn., violating protection from abuse order on Vinalhaven Sept. 4, 2022, four months in jail with all but 10 days suspended, probation one year; violating condition in release Sept. 4, 2022, on Vinalhaven 10 days in jail; violating protection from abuse order on Vinalhaven July 28, 2021, 10 days in jail.

    Austin J. Parmenter, 30, of Waldoboro, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Thomaston Nov. 8, 2021, dismissed; criminal mischief in Thomaston Nov. 8, 2021, $500 fine.

    Nathan C. Poland, 42, of Thomaston, probation violation on a previous conviction for unlawful furnishing of a scheduled drug in Thomaston April 14, 2021, 60 days in jail, probation partially revoked, probation continued.

    Jeremy Scott Robishaw Sr., 43, of Rangeley, domestic violence assault on Vinalhaven May 10, 2021, 364 days in jail with all but 30 days suspended, probation one year.

    Kenneth R. Schulz, 26, of Holbrook, N.Y., sexual exploitation of a minor in Rockland Feb. 3, 2023, seven years in prison with all but 18 months suspended, probation three years; visual sexual aggression against a child in Rockland, six months in prison, probation three years; solicitation of a child in Rockland Feb. 3, 2023, six months in jail, probation three years.

    The investigation of Schulz began Feb. 3 when the Knox County District Attorney’s Office was contacted by a school principal who reported that a student was communicating with a man online who was attempting to solicit sex from the minor, according to the affidavit filed in court by Rockland Police.

    The suspect also allegedly contacted another young student at the school.

    During the investigation, Rockland Police Detective Anne Griffith found a Facebook profile believed to be Schulz. The officer noted that the profile picture associated with his Facebook profile matched the profile picture associated with his MyLOL account, a social and dating website aimed at teenagers.

    Griffith called Schulz using the phone number that he provided on MyLOL. She posed as a friend of the young female he had been soliciting and using a “young sounding voice” began having conversations with him. Schulz called the officer again multiple times, attempting to have further conversations, according to the court document. 

    Police said the investigation included obtaining multiple phone and online records that included the use of graphic sexual language, the exchange of nude photos, and requests by the suspect to meet and have sex.

    Schulz was arrested March 23 in N.Y. after a warrant was obtained by Rockland Police on March 3.

    Chianne N. Simmons, 32, of Lincolnville, operating under the influence (alcohol) in Rockport Feb. 22, 2023, $600 fine, license suspended 150 days.

    Jane M. Spurrier, 74, of Camden, passing stopped school bus in Rockport May 26, 2023, $250 fine.

    Christopher Goodman Triolo, 35, of Las Vegas, Nev., criminal trespass in Rockport June 18, 2022, dismissed; disorderly conduct, offensive words, and gestures in Rockport June 18, 2022, dismissed.

    Richelle Walker, 20, of Rockland, domestic violence assault on Vinalhaven Dec. 4, 2021, dismissed; disorderly conduct, offensive words, gestures on Vinalhaven Dec. 4, 2021, $250 fine.

    Joel Winchenbach, 39, of Waldoboro, shellfish harvesting license violation (commercial) in Friendship April 18, 2023, $300 fine.

    Jason L. Young, 49, of Waldoboro, violating condition of release in Cushing Aug. 7, 2022, 48 hours in jail.
