Kimberly Lynn (Rumney) Blake, obituary

SEARSPORT — Kimberly Lynn (Rumney) Blake was born in Belfast, Maine, on September 27, 1991, and grew up with her parents, Chris and Sharon Rumney, and siblings, Amanda and Caleb, in Northport.

When she was young, she trusted in Jesus Christ as her Savior and became a part of God's family.

After graduating from Belfast High School, she married Caleb Blake on January 21, 2012. They moved to Kasilof, Alaska, where they lived for two years. She was baptized and became a member of the Soldotna Baptist Church. Returning to Maine, Caleb and Kimberly settled in Searsport and became members of the Lighthouse Bible Church.

Kimberly was a wonderful mother to their children, Cora Yvette and Jeremy Andrew.

After battling a short illness, Kimberly went to her new home in heaven on January 9, 2018, to join their predeceased infant, Emma Ileen.

Surviving Kimberly is her husband Caleb Blake, their children, Cora and Jeremy Blake, her father Christopher Rumney, her mother Sharon Rumney, a grandmotherly friend Danae Snyder, sister Amanda Bunker and fiance Moises Orenga; brother Caleb Rumney and wife Victoria, parents-in-law Randall and Yvonne Blake, also numerous in-laws, cousins, nieces, and nephews.

A memorial service for Kimberly will be held at the Lighthouse Bible Church, 86 Prospect Street, Searsport on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 2 p.m. with Pastor Russell Bonin officiating.
