PORT CLYDE – Karen E. Scherzi, 77, died peacefully at home, Tuesday, August 22, 2017 following a period of declining health.

Born April 23, 1940 in Port Clyde, Maine, she was the daughter of Phillip and Audrey McCormack Hupper.

Mrs. Scherzi is survived by her children, Michael Scherzi and his wife Kathy, Rosemary Novick and her husband Rob, Bruce Scherzi and his wife Carolynn, Lori Brubaker and her husband Danial; her grandchildren, Janice, Erica and Danial Brubaker, Stephen Novick and his wife Lauren, Lindsey Novick, Bethany Novick, Nichele Scherzi, Katlyn Scherzi and Tony Scherzi; as well as two great-grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, September 28, 2017 at South Parish Cemetery, Ridge Road, Martinsville.
