NEWPORT RICHEY, FL— Joy (Viens, Lambert) Sheridan of Newport Richey, FL passed away on April 25, 2018 after a brief illness. She was born on January 23, 1942.

She was the daughter of the late Arthur and Charlotte (Rowell) Viens and the wife of the late George Lambert and later the late Eugene Sheridan. She attended St. Joseph's School and Amesbury High. She married George Lambert and together they had three daughters. She later was married to Eugene Sheridan and they had a son. He brought four children to the marriage. Two of whom she was close to.

Joy enjoyed spending time decorating cakes, going to lawn sales with her mother and later her second husband. She enjoyed reading and shoe shopping. Also, she loved the nickel slots. Joy and Eugene started a family tradition of going to the Windsor Fair and camping with the family. They both enjoyed the horse racing and placed an occasional bet or two. This tradition still endures!

She was a caregiver to many and will be greatly missed. She is survived by her sister Gay Pelletier and husband Dennis. Daughters Kelli Terry and Husband Ken, Jill Hildings and husband John, Kristin Lutz and husband Phil. Son Aaron Sheridan and wife Kristi. Grandchildren Meredith Swears and partner Sam Bickford, Nicholas Hildings and wife Nicole, Shannon Asselin and husband Luke, Kendrick Terry and wife Jessica, Daniel Lutz, Kaitlin Lutz and partner Zachary Weigle, Alexis Sheridan and fiance Kirk Willette, Logan Sheridan and friend Makaila, Aiden Sheridan and Cheyenne Bickford. Step daughter Jean Marie Hussey and husband Peter, stepson the late Eugene Sheridan, Jr. and wife Kim. Great grandchildren Robert and Charles Swears, Shawn and Lyndsey Asselin, Gemma and Tessa Terry, Lydia and Andrew Hildings, Harper Weigle. Nephews Dennis and Kory Pelletier and their spouses, Nieces Renee Lynch and Nola Cole and their spouses. Several step grandchildren and great grandchildren. Several great nieces and nephew.

Her only request was that there would be no service. We ask everyone to celebrate her life with her favorite - burnt hotdogs and lots of laughs.
