Johnson leads Berry in Waldo County commissioner’s race

With six of seven towns reporting early Wednesday morning, Waldo County Commissioner Betty Johnson (D-Lincolnville) was holding a modest lead over challenger Donald Berry (R-Belmont).
Johnson is serving her first term on the three-member County Commission after unseating Berry by two votes in 2010. With only the town of Waldo yet to report election results, the current race shows Johnson with a more significant lead than the last time around.
