ROCKLAND — John C. Benson, 84, beloved husband, father, grandfather and long-time mail carrier with the Rockland Post Office, died Nov. 1, 2015, at Knox Center for Long Term Care in Rockland. A full obituary will be published.

A celebration of his life will be held Monday, Nov. 9 at 11 a.m. at Burpee, Carpenter & Hutchins Funeral Home, 110 Limerock St. in Rockland. The Rev. Paul Marshall will officiate.
