The annual Christmas Theme train rides aboard Maine Eastern Railroad are scheduled, and tickets are now on sale.

The Kiwanis Jingle Bell Express, which operates from Rockland to the North Pole (Thomaston), will be Friday and Saturday, Dec. 7 and 8; while the Candy Cane Train to benefit Tri-County Literacy operates from Bath to Winter Wonderland (Wiscasset), on Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 15 and 16.

The Jingle Bell Express will run a total of five round trips, while the Candy Cane Train will run a total of eight round trips. In all cases, Santa will visit passengers and on-board activities will include sing-a-alongs, story-telling and good family fun.

Jingle Bell Express tickets are $18 per person through Nov. 30; and $20 per person on Dec. 1. Children under the age of two ride free. Candy Cane Train tickets are $17 per person, regardless of age. All tickets subject to a service fee.
