CAMDEN — Jason White will lead an outdoor presentation on All About Hydrangeas, Tuesday, Aug. 20, at 12 p.m., at Merryspring Nature Center.

White will be discussing various types of hydrangeas. He will go over what kind of growing conditions they prefer, the characteristics, how to prune and manage each variety of these hydrangeas. 

White has worked at Plants Unlimited for the past seven years as a landscape designer, the last three years as general manager. He has worked in the landscaping industry since his teenage years, and in 2021, White was recognized as the Young Nursery Person of the Year by Maine Landscape & Nursery Association.

This in-person talk is the first in the Summer Talk Series co-sponsored by Bangor Savings Bank and Camden Riverhouse Hotel.

Attendance is free for members; $5 for non-members.
