CAMDEN — Quarry Hill presents Green Burial: Leaving the World a Better Place, Thursday, Feb. 6, at 11 a.m., at the Anderson Inn.
Green burial is a way of caring for the deceased with minimal environmental impact while aiding in the conservation of natural resources, the reduction of carbon emissions, the protection of worker health, and the restoration and protection of habitat. Midcoast Maine Green Burial is a local, grass-roots volunteer organization formed to promote the creation of green burial cemeteries in Midcoast Maine.
