Gordon Page has temperament, integrity, collaborative approach to act as a County Commissioner
Gordon Page has the temperament, integrity required to properly represent Knox County Commissioner District 3. This district includes Rockport, Camden, Hope, Owls Head, and the island communities of Vinalhaven, North Haven, Matinicus, Isle au Haut, and the unorganized territories of Criehaven and the Mussel Ridge Islands.
I have known Gordon for over eight years while interacting with him at many different levels and within many different organizations in our midcoastal communities. Gordon twice served as Interim President of the Penobscot Bay Regional Chamber of Commerce.
He has the temperament, integrity, and collaborative approach required to act as a County Commissioner. He is very aware of the issues facing Knox County having served as Interim County Administrator. He served on the Owls Head Select Board for two terms and was Select Board chair for two years. He has been at tax-paying, full-time resident of Knox County for over 40 years.
He has done his homework and put the time and energy into knowing our communities and understanding our needs firsthand.
A key strength of Gordon’s is understanding and supporting the small business community and its needs. He will make a great Commissioner and has my personal support.
