ROCKLAND — The Friends of Rockland Public Library are holding a bag (book) and tag sale on Aug. 22nd from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bag sale will feature summer clearance fill a bag of books for $5 and the tag sale will be under a tent on the Union Street lawn.  

They are looking for gently used books, household items, furniture, toys, sporting goods, good quality clothing, anything "yard-saley" for the sale to benefit the library. No electronics please. Donations will be accepted through Saturday, August 15. They are offering free pick-up and tax-deductible receipts.
