Forest Harford Jr., obituary

Forest Harford Jr. passed away on November 10, 2020 at the WCGH of late stage dementia.

He was born on May 21, 1934, son of Forest and Maude (Stinson) Harford Sr. He drove truck for Penobscot Poultry, Maplewood, Hallsmith & Sysco, and grain truck for over 40 years. He loved the outdoors, his family and working in the woods. He was a loving husband, father, son, grandfather, uncle and friend. He was loved by all who knew him.

He was predeceased by his parents, Maude and Forest Harford Sr.; siblings Joann Harford, Sandra Allen, June Roberts, Ruth Fuller, Bill Harford, Phil Harford; also brothers in law, Milon Fuller, Stanley Roberts and Bob Allen.

Surviving are his wife of 60 years, Jenese (Rice) Harford; his children Brenda Harford, Paul Harford and Jill Robinson, Randall Harford and Kelly Martin, Raelene (Harford) and husband Cliff Fuller; grandchildren Justin and Kyra Harford, Shay Harford and DA Harvey, Trey Harford and Regina Nugent; Kami (Harford) Miles and Luke Jenks, Ben Luce, Ben and Erica Martin, Nicole Knight and Eric Thorpe, Ashley Knight; great-grandchildren Jade Harvey, Shane, Kailey, Loni, Brooklyn Thorpe, Drake Knight-Martin and Michaela Stewart, Blaze Cunningham, Xander Knight, Patience Philbrook, also a baby boy Harford in March 2021.

Surviving siblings, Pauline Black and her daughters Lori Evans, Lee Blake and Lynn (Black) and husband Bill Warman, Doris Smith and her daughter Karen and husband Ted Smith; special brother-in-law Raymond Rice and wife Edda. Forest also has several  nieces, nephews and lots of friends.  

Thank you to a special nurse, Lindsay, at WCGH, that he took to because she looked so much like his granddaughter Kyra. Thank you so much to all the WCGH nurses and doctors who took really great care of him.

At the request of Forest, there will be no funeral service. There will be a celebration of his life at a later date due to the Covid-19.
