SEARSPORT — Fay Adell Young Gaul of Searsport passed peacefully at Waldo County General Hospital, in Belfast, on July 26, 2023. She was born January 30, 1934 in Augusta to Harlan A. Young and Evelyn P. Grant Young.

Along with her mother and father, she was predeceased by her daughter, Cynthia Lynn Stover; husband Bernard A. Gaul; stepson James A. Gaul; and siblings Boyd Young, Merna McLaughlin, Beverly Norman and Alleen Renchin.     

Surviving her is a special nephew, Douglas C. Norman of Searsport, and her dear friend Laurie Mercier of Sandy Point. She also leaves several nieces and nephews. 
 
No services are planned and interment will be private.
