Erwin A. ‘Bub’ Damon Jr. obituary

STOCKTON SPRINGS — The morning of Saturday, Sept. 5, 2020, Erwin A.‘Bub’ Damon Jr., 63, lost his courageous battle with cancer.

Bub was born December 4, 1956. 

After graduating high school Bub, worked at the Bucksport Paper Mill for 42 years, retiring when it closed. Bub and his wife, Coleen, then opened up Coleen’s Place in Prospect where Bub could always be found behind the counter taking care of customers or visiting with family and friends.

Bub adored his twin granddaughters Emma and Lauren. Bub enjoyed hunting and fishing with his best friend, Tony Tripp. He loved telling hunting and fishing stories to his friends and family, whether true or not. We love you to the moon and back.

He is predeceased by his parents, Laura K. Harriman and Erwin A. Damon Sr.

Bub leaves behind his wife, the love of his life, Coleen Damon; two sons, Rodney Damon and Joseph Damon; and twin granddaughters, Lauren and Emma Damon.

He leaves behind sister Laurel Small and brother-in-law Robert Small; sister Diane and brother-in-law Justin Knowlton; brother Kirt Damon and wife Sarah Damon; sister-in-law Regina and brother-in-law Ed Perry; sister-in-law Brandy and brother-in-law Devon; and brother-in-law Ricky Bridges.

He also leaves behind a large extended family of nieces, nephews, cousins and countless friends.

A graveside service will be announced at a later date.
