Knox County needs elected leaders who truly understand the scope and responsibility of their position. The county needs elected leadership that possesses skills that bridge both private and public employment and a person who excels in building consensus. Gordon Page is that person. 

Gordon Page, who is seeking a seat on the Knox County Commission representing District 3, has a depth of experience in public service and private business, along with the leadership ability to pursue solutions to challenges.

Page has a unique perspective on Knox County Government, having served on the county’s Charter Review Committee as well as serving as interim county administrator following the retirement of the long-time administrator.  He has served as a select person in Owls Head which has given him a clearer perspective on the relationship between communities and county commissioners.

As a result of his many years working in the private sector, Gordon Page understands the need to pay critical attention to appropriately balancing revenues and expenses and to value good employees and allow top management to do their jobs without micromanaging from above.

Electing Gordon Page to the Knox County Commission for District 3 will allow county government to move forward for the good of all the communities that comprise Knox County.
