Driver charged with OUI following two-vehicle crash in Rockland
ROCKLAND — A Rockland man has been charged with operating under the influence of drugs and two counts of drug possession after a two-vehicle crash Oct. 27 around 7:20 p.m. at the intersection of Brewster and Cedar streets in Rockland.
According to Rockland Deputy Police Chief Chris Young, Eben Kenney, 29, was driving a white 1995 Lexus and Dara Hurt, 53, also of Rockland, was operating a 2011 Toyota RAV4, when both vehicles collided, causing Hurt’s vehicle to roll onto its side.
Kenney and Hurt were not seriously injured in the crash.
Rockland Police transported Kenney to the Knox County Jail in Rockland where he is being held on $1,000 cash bail.
Young said that the exact cause of the crash is still under investigation.
