CAMDEN – As P.A.W.S workers “passed the hat” for funds to care for the animals of Houston, locals showed off the Lucy, Kari, Kito, Bailey, Eleanor, Ricky, and Brewster here at home.

Tall, short, adventurous and conservative, some dogs took to the Windjammer Weekend obstacle course with ease. Some refrained from leaping, zigzagging, and tunneling.

Still others couldn’t resist the treats planted to show ability to avoid.

The fastest completed the course in 45 seconds. The slowest took about two minutes.

Along with speed and agility, dogs vied for shortest and longest ears, shortest and longest tail, and best costume as the rains held off Sunday, Sept. 3.
