Denise DeSpirito to lead Transitioning Spaces: Merryspring’s Native Tree and Shrub Border

Event has passed

CAMDEN — Denise DeSpirito will lead an outdoor presentation on Transitioning Spaces: Merryspring’s Native Tree and Shrub Border at Merryspring Nature Center on Tuesday, June 4, at 12 p.m.

In the fall of 2023 over 50 trees and shrubs were planted in the border that sits behind Merryspring's garden. In this presentation participants will take a look at this newly installed border and learn about the great forage for birds and people that these native trees and shrubs will provide.

This in-person talk is part of the Spring Talk Series co-sponsored by  Camden Riverhouse Hotel. Attendance is free for members; $5 for non-members.

Merryspring is your community nature center offering walking trails, cultivated gardens, wildlife, and ecology and horticulture educational programs all year round. The park is located at the end of Conway Road, just off of Route 1 in Camden behind Hannaford Shopping Plaza.
