She enjoyed camping and George and DeDe had a seasonal campsite at Sennebec Campground for many years. She also loved her grandchildren and great grandchildren and was always attending their games, graduations and many events throughout her life.

She was predeceased by her husband of 59 years, George O. Brown, who died on August 15, 2015; and a brother, Melvin Arthur.

She is survived by her daughter, Vicki Bricker and her husband Bennett of Camden; and her grandchildren Whitney Kilton of Brunswick, Jaime Mills of Camden and Isaac Bricker of Old Town. She also had four great grandchildren, Cameron Kilton, Jr, Isaiah Kilton, Audrey Kilton and Addyson Parsons.
