In solidarity with Climate events worldwide (15,000 people at the UN in New York City), 80 to 100 people gathered in Belfast, Sept. 17, to urge an end to reliance on fossil fuels and demand that President Biden officially declare a climate emergency.

The event was spearheaded by Third Act Midcoast Maine, joined by other local groups  in Waldo County focusing on the climate crisis.
