CAMDEN — Camden Opera House has a new Technical Director. Karl Krahn brings 15-plus years of experience to the multi-faceted job, which he began mid-January. 

“We feel incredibly lucky to have Karl join our team,” said Opera House Manager Dave Morrison, in a news release. “He has the experience and knowledge to keep us  moving forward, and presenting the wide variety of programs that we offer.”

As a lighting and audio professional, Krahn has traveled the Northeast, working concerts and festivals. More recently, he was working at a Vermont high school in a Technical Director role, helping with the musicals, plays and concerts. He and his wife and children live in Waldo County, where they have family and enjoy exploring the outdoors.
