CAMDEN — The Camden Opera House will open ticket sales for two big summer shows Wednesday, May 11, at 10 a.m.

Camden Windjammer Festival returns this Labor Day weekend, and the opera house will liven things up with Johnny A., Boston’s own contemporary guitar virtuoso. Johnny A., Just Me … And My Guitars is set for Saturday, Sept. 3, at 7:30 p.m., a solo show opened by Maine singer-songwriter Caroline Cotter.

Tickets for Johnny A., Just Me … And My Guitars are $26 in advance/$34 day-of-show (if available). This holiday weekend show is sponsored by Lord Camden Inn and 40 Paper.

And on Friday, Aug. 12, Maine comedian Bob Marley returns to the opera house stage at 8:30 p.m. Marley usually sells out the house; tickets are $37.50.

As full-capacity performances return, ticketing will be choose-your-own reserved seats in advance, online or by phone; next best available seats, choice of orchestra or balcony, will be assigned at the door.

Tickets will be available online at camdenoperahouse.com or by calling the box office at (207) 236-3154.

The 2022 schedule is filling up, and the opera house’s website is updated regularly with new options, according to the Opera House, in a news release.

Currently, masks are encouraged within the building.
