Camden Hills girls soccer remains in Super 25 national rankings
ROCKPORT — For a sixth consecutive week, Camden Hills varsity girls soccer is a nationally ranked squad, though the team has dropped in the rankings.
After rising one spot from 21st to 20th last week, the Windjammers tumbled four places to 24th this week in the rankings that list the 25 best teams in the country.
The Windjammers are the only team from Maine ranked.
Records listed are through games played Nov. 4.
The Windjammers (16-0) are in the midst of a bid for a fourth consecutive state championship.
The Super 25 rankings are compiled by United Soccer Coaches in coordination with USA TODAY High School Sports based on results from the current season, quality of players and strength of schedule.
The next iteration of the rankings will be released Tuesday, Nov. 12.
