Camden Hills boys soccer edged by Brunswick

ROCKPORT — The Camden Hills varsity boys soccer team hosted Brunswick for a key showdown in Rockport on Thursday, Sept. 19. 

The visiting Dragons entered the contest with an undefeated record, and ultimately held on to the undefeated record with a 3-1 victory. 

Josh Musica found the back of the net twice for the Dragons, while Alfonso Miguel added the winning goal with seven minutes remaining. 

Quinn Brown scored for the host Windjammers. 

In the goalie net, Jack McDiarmind recorded 12 saves for Brunswick and Casey Messer recorded eight for Camden Hills. 

"We played very well for stretches of the game [Thursday],” said Camden Hills head coach Ryan Hurley. “A few key mistakes cost us but I think we'll learn and grown from this game and be better for it."

The Windjammers (3-2) will hit the road for its next game Saturday, Sept. 21 against Skowhegan (3-2) for an 11 a.m. showdown.
