Camden Hills boys lacrosse splits final two regular season contests
ROCKPORT — The Camden Hills varsity boys lacrosse team finished the regular season by splitting its final two contests in Rockport.
The Windjammers bested Morse in its senior recognition game before falling to Brunswick in the regular season finale.
Fourteen seniors for the Camden Hills were recognized May 27: Christopher Cammelieri, Jackson Fitch, Logan Odone, Owen Cooper, Oliver Dietter, Eben Fagonde, Elias Libby, Willy Doehla, Vanya Perevalov, Rory Carlson, Jakob Johnson, Cole Freeman, Camden Powell and Alex Kurzius.
The Windjammers enter the playoffs with a 10-2 record as the fifth-seed and will open the postseason with a home contest Thursday, June 9 against 12th-seed Morse at 1 p.m. The winner will face No. 4 Brunswick or No. 13 Greely in the quarterfinals.
May 31: Brunswick 17, Camden Hills 9
Brunswick maintained quarterly advantages of 6-2, 14-6 and 16-9. Camden Hills came within striking distance of tying the game in the second quarter with the score at 7-6 when Brunswick went on a 7-0 scoring run in the final five minutes of the quarter.

Camden Powell recorded 22 saves and 17 goals against in net for Camden Hills.

The host Windjammers held quarterly advantages of 4-1, 14-4 and 20-4.
