Camden Garden Club seeks sponsors for 2024 lamppost wreaths
Camden Garden Club is looking for sponsors of Camden’s iconic holiday wreaths. Every year, Camden Garden Club hand-decorates and lights 98 wreaths to adorn Camden’s lampposts for the holiday season, from mid-November through mid-February.
Fifty wreaths need sponsors at $100 each.
“If you choose, each wreath will be tagged with your name and ‘Happy Holidays,’” said the Garden Club, in a news release.
“Your contribution will help cover the cost of these beautiful double-sided wreaths, made here in Maine,” said Susan Reider, Development Chair. “After the holiday season, the Club members carefully remove the working lights and clean hand-made bows for use the following year, reducing landfill waste and managing our cost.”
Our mission is to develop and preserve Camden’s environment by beautifying the community, enhancing public spaces, offering educational programs, and practicing resource conservation.
