BELFAST — Members of the MLK Jr. Day Planning Committee are asking local artists to design a poster or submit a poem focused on the richness of diversity, and what we can do about racism, to be displayed in the community in January 2022, in solidarity with the annual Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day celebration on January 17.

Please submit a photo of your poster or your written words by December 15, to BelfastMLKDay@gmail.com. Members of the MLK Jr. Day Planning Committee will be asking local merchants to display your work in recognition of the ongoing struggle for civil rights, and the community commitment to be part of the solution.
