Birthday cake and balloons: Camden Opera House’s 120th celebration begins

CAMDEN — Massive inflatable balloons and two birthday cakes marked the beginning of the Camden Opera House’s 120th anniversary celebration that will continue through the rest of the year.
The Village Green became busy as birthday cake was served and Alex and Shayna sang Happy Birthday.
Fred Garbo said he was excited for the performance of Fred Garbo’s Inflatable Theatre Company at 7 p.m. Saturday. This is his 30th year putting on the show.
Opera House manager Kerry Hadley said today is all about the cake and the performance.
120th anniversary events continue with Iris Dement on August 1.
