'Big beautiful bill' is one more sham that ultimately favors the most wealthy
President Trump's budget bill just passed by the House of Representatives contains a heartless, unchristian, and draconian budget cut of $3.8 trillion over the next decade to Medicaid and food assistance programs, which will unfavorably impact millions of Americans, according to the non-partisan Congressional Budget Office (CBO).
It also institutes harsh work requirements to the program’s recipients. This combines with $4.5 trillion in tax-cuts over the next decade, which according to the CBO will provide 2/two-thirds of the tax savings to the top 1/one-fifth of wage earners, and add $3.8 trillion to our already $ 36.2 trillion deficit.
A major concern is the more yearly deficits we add to our long-term debt, especially with these deficit-producing, destructive and UnAmerican Republican legislation that benefit the wealthy, the less money we have available in the future for essential social network programs such as Medicaid, Social Security, Medicare and other benefits that favor the middle class and societies less fortunate.
I can only conclude that President Trumps "big beautiful bill” is one more sham that ultimately favors the most wealthy at the expense of the overwhelming majority of Americans.
